My goal with this page is to provide information about Rabbits, Mini Rex and Sable Point breeding. I have not had the chance to compile the information myself yet, so until then, I have provided some links that you may find helpful.
These useful guides were put together by Natalie Shobe of Wildriver Rabbitry. She has put a lot of effort into compiling pictures of the various shaded and related varieties. She also put together a great basic guide to color genetics.
If you are interested in breeding sable points, this is a MUST read article. Understanding color genetics can be a challenge but Chris Megeles of Minnow Lakes Rabbitry does an excelent job of explaining the genetics of sable points.
Put together by Patty Kovell & Jamie O'Brien, this is a great guide to determine which colors are the most compatable.
